After an off week last weekend, the Ducks seek to snap a four-match skid after dropping matches at No. 10 USC and 15th-ranked UCLA to close the regular season. Seven of UO's last eight matches – and nine of its last 11 – in the regular season came against teams in the ITA's top-75 poll. Oregon checks in at No. 64 nationally while the Wildcats enter the conference tournament as the nation's 41st-rank team.
Â
Uxia Martinez Moral leads UO with 12 dual singles wins, as she now sits alone in fourth place in program history with 74 career singles victories. Jo-Yee Chan and Karin Young both tied for second with 11 singles wins while freshman Candela Aparisi has a team-leading four victories during Pac-12 play and has won five of her last six completed matches overall.
Â
On the double side, Chan and Sophie Luescher have picked up four doubles wins this spring, with Aparisi and Young owning a team-high seven doubles wins during the spring dual season.
Â
The Ducks and Wildcats met in Eugene during the regular season, with UA earning a tightly contested 4-2 win at the Student Tennis Center on March 24. Aparisi and Chan each picked up singles wins to contribute to the Ducks' point total, with Chan gutting out a three-set victory at the No. 3 spot in the lineup.
Â
Arizona holds a slim 14-17 lead in the all-time series, as Wednesday's match will mark the first between the sides in the Pac-12 Tournament.
Â
Reece Carter is the lone ranked Wildcat in UA's lineup, entering the postseason as the ITA's No. 111 singles player. Carter and doubles partner Brandelyn Fulgenzi make up the 39th-ranked tandem in the latest doubles rankings.
