Honolulu, Hawaii – Oregon acrobatics and tumbling heads to the Aloha State for another ranked contest at No. 13 Hawaii Pacific on Wednesday.

The Ducks (4-1) are coming off a pair of wins against Gannon and Iona at home, and will meet the Sharks (2-1) in their home arena for the first time since 2024. Oregon has won 12 of 13 matchups against Hawaii Pacific all time, with the only loss coming in 2015. The last meeting between teams was a 276.915-258.345 victory in favor of the Ducks in 2024.

The trip will mark Oregon's fourth to Honolulu, where the team will seek it's second win on the road this season. The Ducks and Sharks have met twice in the NCATA tournament, both resulting in Oregon wins.

Keepin' it 10.0
Oregon's perfect score in the compulsory toss against Quinnipiac marked the program's first 10.0 in the toss since 2020, awarded for the side-by-side precision of a pair of UO quintets — Shea Barnes, Kamryn Horiuchi, Charlotte Lippa, Ashlyn Parlett and Emily Rezner; and Selah Bell, Molly Dahlager, Makenna Guidish, Angelica Martin and Blessyn McMorris. The score marked the first 10.0 of the season for the Ducks, who had two perfect outings in the pyramid event last year.

Specialist Status
No stranger to weekly awards after being recognized by the NCATA after all seven meets last season, sophomore base Angelica Martin was named Specialist of the Week Martin competed in five heats and the team event, contributing to Oregon's total score of 268.105. The Delaware native contributed three scores of 9.950 in the compulsory toss, five element acro and six element acro heats. Martin took the mat with Cassidy Cu to match their best score in the five element acro heat and established a new career high in the seven element.

Best in the Business
Returning for her final year with the program, 2025 NCATA All-American Blessyn McMorris continues act as the backbone for Oregon's success in the pyramid event. McMorris earned Athlete of the Week honors after the Missouri State meet and helped the Ducks to a 9.95 open pyramid score to start the season. McMorris was recognized by the NCATA for a second time in week four, earning the Specialist of the Week nod after helping Oregon to scores of 9.95, 9.90 and 9.80 to best Baylor in the event. The Linwood, Ill., native has competed in each pyramid heat this year, contributing to an average score of 29.540.

Excellence in Action
Junior base Ashlyn Parlett earned Athlete of the Week honors for the first time in her career after helping the Ducks take down No. 3 ranked Quinnipiac. Parlett competed in 10 heats and the team event last Saturday and contributed six scores of 9.50 or higher, including a 9.85 in the open pyramid heat and a perfect 10 in the compulsory toss. The California native earned honorable mention nods for Athlete of the Week in week six, alongside Angelica Martin who was recognized for her specialist performance in the acro event against Gannon.

Freshman Phenoms
A pair of freshmen, Nyla Lassiter and Nya Womack, have earned their spots in Oregon's 2026 lineup. Lassiter earned NCATA Freshman of the Week honorable mention honors after helping the Ducks to their first win of the season at Missouri State and had repeated recognition after helping the Ducks to their best score of the season against Baylor. Womack made her tumbling debut in Oregon's win over Quinnipiac, posting a 9.800 in the aerial pass, and joined Briya Alvarado and Brynn Mortimer for a 9.150 score in the trip pass against Baylor.

Stacking Wins
No. 2 UO women were celebrated their third win of the season over a top-10 team, 268.105-265.210 over visiting No. 4 Iona. The duo of Cassidy Cu and Angelica Martin provided big points in two different heats of the acro event. As usual, the tumbling event was a strength for Oregon, with the UO women dominating that event, 57.025-52.150, to bring themselves back from a deficit and take the lead into the team event that closed the meet. A couple of mistakes by Iona hurt its score, but Oregon put the pressure on with its performance. Sophia Wing and Carly Garcia started it off with a 9.450 in the duo pass, Nya Womack posted a 9.675 in the aerial pass, Morgan Willingham scored 9.800 in the six-element pass and Briya Alvarado finished it off with a 9.900 in the open pass.

Won the Duel
Oregon collected its third win of the year, defeating No. 9 ranked Gannon. The Ducks started slow in their fourth meet of the season, but regained momentum in the acro event posting three scores above 9.500. Cassidy Cu and Angelica Martin marked a new career high with a near-perfect 9.950 in the five-element heat. The tumbling trio of Morgan Willingham, Briya Alvarado and Nya Womack delivered fantastic individual passes, all above 9.800, to help the Ducks to their best event score of the season. The UO squad capped the meet with a season-best team event to finish with a meet total of 276.055-270.570.

Battle with the Bears
In the annual rendition of the most storied matchup in the NCATA, the Oregon Ducks met their match as the Baylor Bears picked up another win in Waco. The Ducks (2-1) outscored the Bears (4-0) in a stellar pyramid event, but Baylor lengthened its lead in the tumbling event and finished the day with a 278.080-272.530 win. Oregon once again proved strongest in the pyramid event, with all three scores at or above 9.800. The Ducks matched their best score of the day as Cu, Martin, Ashlyn Parlett, Emily Rezner, Charlotte Lippa, Blessyn McMorris and counter Sophia Wing delivered a 9.950 inverted pyramid heat. UO also put up a 9.900 in the synchronized pyramid and a 9.800 with Selah Bell on top of the open heat.

Home Cooking
No. 2 ranked Oregon hosted No. 3 Quinnipiac for their second meet of the season, resulting in a 270.640-265.425 win for the Ducks. The UO women put up their best score of the year with a perfect 10 in the toss heat of the compulsory event that helped Oregon take an early lead that held throughout the meet with the help of an improved 92.290 team event score.

Opening Impact
The Ducks opened the 2025 season in style by beating Missouri State, 267.325-242.880. Oregon was outstanding in the pyramid event, carrying over last year's standard of success which saw the Ducks take home the individual event title in the open pyramid at the 2025 NCATA Championships. Returning to the floor for their second season as a duo, Cassidy Cu and Angelica Martin debuted a new routine in the seven-element acro event. Cu and Martin scored a 9.85 in their opening meet after expanding last season's five-element acro skill.
