No. 12 Ducks Host Ohio State on Senior Weekend

No. 12/14 Oregon closes out the 2026 home schedule by hosting Ohio State Friday through Sunday. This will be Ohio State's first visit to Eugene. The Ducks enter the series one game back of first-place Nebraska (17-1) in the Big Ten standings heading into the penultimate weekend of conference action. The Ducks are tied with UCLA, which travels to Washington this week, at 16-2. Oregon is 19-1 at Jane Sanders Stadium this season. The Ducks will honor their six seniors  - Elon Butler, Lyndsey Grein, Amari Harper, Remmington Hewitt, Trinity Holden and Elise Sokolsky in a postgame ceremony on Sunday.

SOKOLSKY, BUTLER HELP DUCKS COMPLETE SWEEP OF OREGON STATE
Elise Sokolsky threw a complete game seven-hitter to lead No. 12 Oregon to its 12th win in a row, a 7-2 decision against Oregon State Wednesday at Jane Sanders Stadium. With the win, the Ducks swept the 2026 series against the Beavers. Sokolsky struck out seven, walked none and allowed two runs – both unearned – in her longest outing since a complete-game win at Oregon State on April 2, 2025. The Ducks scored seven runs on 11 hits that included a homer and a double by Elon Butler, triples from Amari Harper and Ayanna Shaw and doubles by Emma Cox and Stefini Ma'ake.
DUCKS SWEEP NORTHWEST RIVALS FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2016
Oregon swept its Northwest Rivals - Oregon State and Washington - in the same season for the first time since 2016.
BUTLER CLEANS UP ON DOUBLES, RBI
Elon Butler leads the Big Ten and is ninth nationally with a career-high 17 doubles. That's tied for second on the UO single season list, just one off the school record. She also has three six-RBI games this season and a fourth game with five runs driven in to lead the Ducks with 51 RBI.
SHAW NEARS TRIPLES RECORD
Wednesday against Oregon State, Ayanna Shaw hit her seventh triple of the season, which leads the Big Ten and ranks fourth nationally. The seven triples are just one back of the school record of eight by Janie Takeda (2014).
AMARI HARPER RECEIVES GOLDEN TICKET
Following the Ducks' 3-1 game three  win over Washington, the AUSL surprised Amari Harper by awarding her a "Golden Ticket," meaning she will be selected in the May 4 AUSL college draft.
DUCKS SWEEP HUSKIES IN EUGENE FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2014
Emma Cox homered three times and Amari Harper and Elon Butler homered twice as Oregon swept Washington at home for  the first time since 2014. Cox had two home runs, including a grand slam, and drove in a career-high six runs in the 8-4 game one win. Harper homered in game two and game three, while Butler homered twice in the Ducks' game three victory (3-1). The UW series also saw the return of pitcher Elise Sokolsky for the first time in 10 games. She pitched the final 4.2 innings to earn the win in game two (5-4) and then tossed the final two innings in game three to earn her third save of the season.
BUTLER HITS 50TH HOME RUN, BREAKS DUCKS' SINGLE-SEASON EXTRA BASE HITS RECORD
April 21 against Washington, Elon Butler hit her 50th and 51st career home runs and in the process, broke Oregon's single-season extra base hits record. The home runs were her 32nd and 33rd extra base hits of the season, one better than the previous mark of 32 set just last year by Rylee McCoy. She now has 35 extra base hits. With 52 career home runs, Butler, who played her first three years at California, has now four more than Oregon's current record holder, Janelle Lindvall (48, 2013-16).
GETTING THE RUNNER HOME FROM THIRD
Oregon leads the NCAA with a program-record 32 sacrifice flies. Emma Cox leads the team with seven, which ranks third nationally. Amari Harper and Stefini Ma'ake have five apiece. Taryn Ho, Kaylynn Jones and Rylee McCoy have three. Addison Amaral and Elon Butler have two.
GREIN IN BIG TEN'S TOP FOUR IN NINE DIFFERENT CATEGORIES
Lyndsey Grein ranks among the Big Ten's top four in nine different statistical categories. She leads the Big Ten in wins (23), strikeouts (177), hits allowed per seven innings pitched (4.64) and appearances (36). She's second in ERA (2.15), WHIP (0.98) and innings pitched (143.1). Grein is fourth in strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.85) and strikeouts per seven innings pitched (8.6).
