Ducks Set for Big Ten Tournament

Second-seeded seeded Oregon will face either No. 7 Wisconsin or No. 10 Purdue in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament Thursday at 1:30 p.m. PT (Big Ten Network). Should the Ducks win, Oregon's semifinal game would be Friday at 4:30 p.m. PT. The Big Ten Championship game is Saturday at 1 p.m. PT. The Ducks won the season series with Purdue, two-games-to-one. Oregon and Wisconsin last played in 2023. Elise Sokolsky threw 1.1 innings in the Ducks' 4-2 win.

She's second in WHIP (1.01) and wins (23) and third in hits allowed per seven innings pitched (4.84), innings pitched (159.0) and strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.88). Grein is fourth in ERA (2.47) and strikeouts per seven innings pitched (8.5).
MA'AKE NAMED BIG TEN PLAYER OF THE WEEK
After leading No. 11 Oregon to its 16th consecutive series win, Stefini Ma'ake was named Big Ten Player of the Week. It is her first conference player of the week award. Ma'ake, a sophomore from San Diego, hit .636 (7-of-11) with a double, two home runs and eight RBI as Oregon took the weekend series at No. 5 UCLA two-games-to-one. She also slugged 1.273. In game one against the Bruins, Ma'ake hit two home runs and had four RBI in Oregon's 8-2 win. In game two, she went 4-for-5 and her fourth inning, two-RBI double broke a 6-6 tie and put Oregon in the lead for good. It was Oregon's first series win at UCLA since 2015.
BUTLER OWNS THREE SINGLE-SEASON RECORDS, NEARS THREE MORE
Elon Butler has already broken or tied three school records and could net a couple more before season is over. She owns the outright records for extra base hits (38) and total bases (140). She is tied for the single-season record in doubles (18). Butler is also fourth in runs (62), three back of the program record (65), and tied for third in home runs (17), two off the school's al-time mark (19).
BUTLER HITS 50TH HOME RUN
April 21 against Washington, Elon Butler hit her 50th and 51st career home runs. Now with 52 career home runs, Butler, who played her first three years at California, has four more than Oregon's current record holder, Janelle Lindvall (48, 2013-16). Butler also has three six-RBI games this season and a fourth game with five runs driven in to lead the Ducks with 57 RBI.
SHAW NEARS TRIPLES RECORD
April 22 against Oregon State, Ayanna Shaw hit her seventh triple of the season, which leads the Big Ten and ranks fifth nationally. The seven triples are just one back of the school record of eight by Janie Takeda (2014).
GETTING THE RUNNER HOME FROM THIRD
Oregon leads the NCAA with a program-record 35 sacrifice flies. Emma Cox leads the team with seven, which ranks seventh nationally. Stefini Ma'ake has six and Amari Harper has five. Elon Butler, Taryn Ho, Kaylynn Jones and Rylee McCoy each have three.
AMARI HARPER RECEIVES GOLDEN TICKET, DRAFTED BY OKC SPARK
After receiving a "Golden Ticket" on April 19, senior Amari Harper was selected by the Oklahoma City Spark in the third round of the 2026 Athletes Unlimited Softball League Draft on Monday. She was the 14th pick overall. Harper is second on Oregon with a .401 average (57-of-142) and has a career-high 15 home runs to go along with nine doubles and two triples. She has driven in 47 runs. Harper is slugging .810 and has a team-best .516 on-base percentage. She will be teammates with UO assistant coach Sydney Romero, who is also with the Spark. Harper will be one of two Duck alums playing in the AUSL during the 2026 season. Shortstop Paige Sinicki, the 2024 Gold Glove winner at shortstop, was selected by the Portland Cascade in the 2025 AUSL Allocation Draft in December.
