2003 -- Stepped onto the field in 24 games as a junior college transfer and had her first Pac-10 start at third base against then-No. 3 Arizona. Had one of Oregon's three hits in the game, finishing 1-for-2. Her lone other hit in a Pac-10 game was in the Ducks' 9-1 win over then-No. 5 California as she came of the bench as a designated hitter to finish the game 1-for-1. Showed an intense desire and competitive nature in each opportunity that was presented to her. Also gained valuable experience in the postseason, coming off the bench as a pinch runner in Oregon’s 9-2 win over Louisiana-Lafayette as well as the Ducks' 7-6 win over Oklahoma State. Scored her lone runs of the season in the opener vs. Texas A&M Corpus Chirsti and against Northridge two weeks later.
Before Oregon -- Played two seasons at Long Beach City College and earned Most Valuable Player honors at the state tournament in 2001 as team won state championship. Long Beach City was also runner-up at state championships in 2002.
High School -- Lettered four years in softball as a third baseman and two years as a guard in basketball at St. Paul high school in South Gate, Calif. Was a first-team all-Del Rey League honoree after hitting .340 her senior season. St. Paul was CIF runner-up in 1997. Played for Julio Jaime on the Poison softball club team.
