From the fall to the spring, this three-sport athlete dominated Tigard athletics (soccer, basketball, softball). Made her mark in each sport, earning first-team all-league honors in softball all four years, soccer (three years) while also garnering second-team all-league in basketball (2004) honors as a senior after earning third-team honors as a junior. Her impressive .400 average as a senior led to second-team all-state honors (softball) and she added 23 runs, 22 RBI, six doubles and three home runs as one of the Pac-9’s best infielders. Perhaps her biggest highlight came during the soccer season when Jorgensen, along with current University of Oregon soccer player Jen Cameron led Tigard to a 2-1 win over powerhouse Tualatin to secure the conference title — it was Tigard’s first win over Tualatin soccer in 10 years. Jorgensen’s 2004 statistics were just a continuation of her solid junior year in which she hit .464 with 23 runs scored and a .797 slugging percentage. As a sophomore, Jorgensen hit .457 with 19 runs scored and a .563 on base percentage. Tigard basketball won the conference title in 2000, 2001 and 2002 while her ASA softball team won four Oregon State Championships and in 2000 finished 14th at the 14A nationals. In 2001, her 16A team, finished 13th at nationals. Played for Eric Leyba on the Oregon Reign club team.
