2016 SEASON
Made 17 appearances, all in relief … Went 2-3 with an ERA of 3.52 in 23 innings pitched and one save … Pitched a scoreless ninth inning with two strikeouts to secure a season-opening win over San Diego State … Picked up the save after pitching two shutout innings with one strikeout in the home-opener against Illinois State … Went 4.1 shutout innings out of the bullpen with two strikeouts while allowing just one hit against UCLA … Did not allow a run in final four appearances of the season, pitching 4.1 innings with one strikeout while allowing just two hits over that stretch.
2015 SEASON
Appeared in 26 games, all out of the bullpen … Finished the season 3-1 with a 3.56 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 55.2 innings pitched … Proved valuable as a long-reliever, going two innings or more in 14 of 26 games … Held Iowa scoreless over 2.1 innings in the opening game of the NCAA Springfield Regional … Provided lights-out relief over 5.2 innings against Oregon State, allowing just four hits with three strikeouts while keeping the Beavers off the board just four days after throwing four innings of one-hit ball at Portland State … Threw four innings of scoreless relief with four strikeouts while earning first career save against Gonzaga … Appeared in all three games of the Arizona series, allowing just one unearned run over two innings … Allowed just seven of 25 inherited runners to score throughout the season.
2014 SEASON
Appeared in six games over the course of the season, compiling a 7.27 ERA in 8.2 innings pitched … Picked up first career win in a 14-5 win at Gonzaga, throwing 2.1 innings of one-hit ball while allowing just one unearned run and striking out two … Made first appearance of the season at San Francisco, throwing one scoreless inning and striking out one … Did not walk a batter in first 5.2 innings pitched.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2013 graduate of Sheldon High School in Eugene … A four-year starter at Sheldon, while serving as a team captain as a senior … Named the 2013 Class 6A Baseball Player of the Year after leading Sheldon to a state championship … Earned first-team all-state and first-team all-conference honors after batting .396 (42-for-106) with eight doubles, one home run, 29 RBI, 13 walks and three stolen bases … Went 2-for-3 with two RBI in Sheldon’s 6-5 win in the state tournament championship game … Named second-team all-league as a junior as a shortstop while batting .333 … Batted .333 as a sophomore while playing third base and shortstop … High school coach was Stan Manley.
