Pac-10 scorer at 10,000 meters. In-state veteran runner with NCAA and Pac-10 Cross Country championship meet experience. Senior had a resurgent fall and was consistently among the team’s top five runners. Two-time state runner up at 1,500 meters.
2009-10: Outdoors - Pac-10 scorer at 10,000 meters. Won the 3,000 meters at the season-opening Oregon Preview (9:37.71). Established a then-personal best in the 1,500 meters (4:32.15) at the Pepsi Team Invitational. Ran a personal-best 16:23.61 in the 5,000 meters at the Oregon Relays. Improved to 4:30.66 in the 1,500 at the Oregon Twilight. Ran a personal best 34:29.67 to finish eighth in the 10,000 meters at the Pac-10 championships and score a point for the two-time champions. Capped career with her first NCAA West Regional appearance. Indoors - Opened season with a personal best in the 3,000 meters (9:43.56) at the Husky Classic. Greatly improved that time to 9:32.53 at the MPSF Championships, where she also ran the 5,000 meters. Cross Country - Opened season with a win at the Pre’s Trail Pre-View, her first victory as a Duck, to lead Oregon to the team title. Ran 12th overall and was the Ducks’ No. 3 finisher in helping Oregon to a second-place finish at the Bill Dellinger Invitational (16:59.83, 5,000 meters). Made return to the Pac-10 Championships for the first time since her freshman season (29th, 20:49.80). Great effort in her first career NCAA West Regional, where she ran 25th (21:39.25) as Oregon’s No. 4 runner, produced the first all-regional team selection of her career. Also ran at the Pre-National Invitational. Capped fall with her first NCAA Championships appearance. Season Bests: Outdoors - 1,500 Meters - 4:30.66 (PR), Oregon Twilight, Eugene, Ore. 2008-09: Raced at 1,500 meters three times outdoors and set a PR (4:37.46) at the Oregon Relays. Was second in the 1,500 at the Oregon Twilight (4:39.39). Also ran the 5,000 meters at the Pepsi Team Invitational. In cross country, competed in Pre’s Trail Run and the Mike Hodges Invitational. Season Bests: Outdoors - 1,500 Meters - 4:37.46, Oregon Relays, Eugene, Ore. (4/24/09).
2007-08: Ran the 1,500 meters twice, at the Oregon Preview and the Oregon Relays. Did not compete indoors. In the fall, competed in three cross country races for UO and placed top-10 on the squad in each. Scored in Ducks’ fifth slot in the Beaver Classic (13th). Also competed in the Sunriver Open and Mike Hodges Invitational.
2006-07: On the track, competed in three races indoors and outdoors for UO. In fall, ranked fourth for the cross country team in the Pier Park Preview (sixth, 18:59) and was fifth on the squad in the Mike Hodges Invitational (ninth, 17:26). Also raced at the Pac-10 Championships and Bill Dellinger Invitational. Season Bests: Outdoors - 1,500 Meters - 4:43.82, Oregon Preview, Eugene, Ore. (3/17/07). Indoors - 3,000 Meters - 10:04.91, MPSF Championships, Seattle, Wash. (2/25/07).
Prep: Finished top-30 in all four of her 3A state cross country appearances, including fifth place as a junior and senior. Claimed state track runner-up honors in the 1,500 meters as a senior (4:46.25) and junior (4:38.70). Also finished second as senior in the 3,000 meters (10:09.37) with an 11-second personal best. High School Bests: 1,500 Meters - 4:38.70 (2005); 3,000 Meters - 10:09.37 (2006).
