Bio
2015 – Although he didn't make a huge statistical impact, his play and opportunities certainly intensified the second half of the season . . . While he stepped onto the field for 11 of 13 games - missing back-to-back outings against Washington State and Washington - his increased presence from the line of scrimmage coincided, in part, with the season-ending injuries suffered by others on the depth chart . . . Was credited with four of his five tackles in the final six games, including unassisted stops vs. Utah, Arizona State, and USC . . . Stepped onto the field for 28 snaps on the road against the Sun Devils and Stanford, and 27 vs. the Trojans . . . Was shifted from outside linebacker to defensive end prior to the 2016 spring workouts in the program’s transformation to a 4-3 defense . . . Included a quarterback sack among his two tackles in the 2016 Spring Game.
2014 – The junior college transfer refined his craft as a member of the Ducks' scout team in the fall, preserving three seasons of eligibility . . . Posted five tackles, including 0.5 tackles for loss, in the 2015 Spring Game.
BEFORE OREGON – Played one season at Laney College for a squad that finished with an 8-3 record and second in the NorCal Association’s Golden Gate – Central Conference . . . Credited with 23 tackles in 11 games for the Eagles, including seven for a losses and four quarterback sacks for 38 yards . . . Also defended three passes, forced one fumble and recovered two others for touchdowns in consecutive games vs. West Hills Coalinga and Chabot . . . Recorded a season-high six stops (five unassisted) against West Hills Coalinga in addition to one catch for 10 yards, and added two TFLs for 10 yards in losses against San Mateo . . . Migrated to junior college to pursue baseball . . . Helped lead McClymonds High School to a 12-0 record and the CIF Oakland Section title as a prep junior in 2010 . . . The quarterback/defensive end passed for over 1,200 yards and 13 TDs for the Warriors as well as ran for another 400 yards and eight scores his junior year to earn all-league honors.
