2007-08: Shot 57 percent from the floor in 19 appearances. Season-best 11 points and six rebounds Dec. 11 against Sacramento State. Good game with 10 points in 18 minutes Dec. 28 against Mount St. Mary’s. Tallied eight points in Jan. 10 win against Cal.
2006-07: Delayed enrollment for a year due to issues relating to his student visa. Began taking classes in the 2007 spring term, in effect making the 2006-07 season a redshirt year.
Before Oregon: Was the top scorer (10.7 ppg) and rebounder (7.0 rpg) as a sophomore at Vincennes University. Led that Indiana-based school to a 26-6 record in 2005-06. Shot 52.5 percent from the field (127-of-242) and 64.2 percent (88-of-137) at the free throw line. Scored in double figures 16 times, including a career-high 25 points against Florissant Valley on Nov. 25, and had four double-doubles. Vincennes posted a 48-16 record during his two seasons. Prior to Vincennes, averaged 18 points and seven rebounds per game as a senior at Elizabeth High in New Jersey. Was rated the No. 15 player in New Jersey as a senior. Attended Winchendon Prep in Massachusetts during the 2003-04 year. Studied computer engineering at Vincennes.
Personal: Born Frantz Dorsainvil on December 20, 1983, in St. Marc, Haiti. Moved to his hometown of Montreal, Canada, as a child. Parents are Amelie Philipe and the late Simon Dorsainvil. Two older sisters. Speaks three languages. High School (Coach): Elizabeth (L. Patrick Brunner). College (Coach): Vincennes (Everick Sullivan). Major is political science.
