2005-06
Enters his final season as healthy as he has been since his freshman year. Renewed love of the game has rejuvenated his outlook for 2005-06 as he figures to be a key contributor in the post. Skilled around the basket for a big man.
2004-05
Saw action in 13 games, averaging 0.8 points and 1.2 rebounds per game. Had two points and a season-high five rebounds in the season-opening win over Idaho State. Key contributor with season-best six points in win at Fresno State. Four rebounds against Portland. Struggled in Pac-10 play, but netted three points at Stanford, one venue he’s always played well in.
2003-04
A preseason stress fracture in his left foot caused this potential starter to lose too much practice time to ever truly catch up all the way. A spot contributor in 22 games with two starts. Netted just 0.5 points and 1.5 rebounds per game. Missed the first three games of the season due to the stress fracture. Grabbed a season-high five rebounds in his 2003-04 debut versus Kansas. Season-high four points in Santa Clara win. Four rebounds in Pac-10 tournament win against California.
2002-03
Named the team’s Jesse Nash Award winner as Oregon’s most improved player. Played in 32 games, making eight starts. Averaged 2.8 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. Hit .631 in limited attempts (41-of-65) from the field. Scored six points and grabbed five rebounds Jan. 4 vs. Arizona State. Had eight points Jan. 11 at Stanford. Career-high 11 points on five-of-five shooting Feb. 8 vs. California. Six points and five rebounds in solid effort March 8 at Arizona. Pulled down season-best six rebounds to go with six points in NCAA Tournament first round game vs. Utah.
2001-02
Redshirt season.
BEFORE OREGON
One of only 14 high school players in the nation to make the roster for the 2001 Global Games in Dallas. Helped Team USA/Texas win the bronze medal at those games. Continues the legacy of Oregon recruits playing in that international tournament following the 2000 appearances by Luke Jackson and Luke Ridnour. A three-time all-Northern Athletic League selection for Yreka High School. Selected to play for the North at the Lions All-Star game. Scored 15 points in leading the North to an 82-67 victory. Rated the fifth-best center on the West Coast by PacWest Hoops. Scored 16 points per game as a senior at Yreka for coach Mike Carpine. Season high was 28 points. Averaged 13.3 points and 11.3 rebounds per game as a junior and blocked 59 shots. Helped Yreka to a nine-game improvement from his sophomore to junior seasons. Yreka went 11-13 in 1999-2000 after winning just two games the year before. In 1998-99, scored 10.1 points per game and established school’s sophomore blocked shots record. Three-time team MVP.
