Tied for 37th at the Oregon Duck Invitational (73-73-76-222). Best career finish came one week later at the Western Intercollegiate, where he tied for 34th (76-74-150). Helped Ducks finish fifth at the Pac-10 Championships with a final round 72. Saw action in three tournaments in the fall. Tied for 41st at the Northwest Collegiate Classic (72-73-76-221). Tied for 45th at the Big Ten/Pac-10 Challenge (81-75-156). Strong summer saw him win the 2004 Oregon Golf Association Stroke Play championship. At the NCAA W West est Regional: tied for 66th at 221 that included a closing round of 72. Also became just the second golfer in school history named to the Pac-10 all-academic first team (J.J.
