• Joined team in the fall of 2010, and quickly positioned herself as the team’s most called-up base-runner in spring of 2011.
• Also as a frosh, emerged as a frequently-called upon outfield replacement defensively in final months of campaign.
• As a prep, quickly established herself as one of the Bakersfield area's top players after beginning softball career as a sophomore.
2011 SEASON (Freshman)
Has appeared in 25 games as a pinch-runner. Has also played 19 games as a defensive replacement in left or right field, including 12 of the last 15 games of the season (helping UO to a 12-3 mark in that stretch). Scored 11 runs on the season – including three in Pac-10 play in pair of games vs. then-No. 2 Arizona State and also against Oregon State –and two in the NCAA Regional. Swiped her first stolen base against Nevada the opening week of the season.
Prep: Lettered three years in center field, and helped team to Central Section title in 2010 and runner-up nod in '09. Was an all-league and all-area pick as a junior and senior. Also lettered three years in volleyball as a left-side hitter. Off the field, was a three-year honor student at Stockdale High School.
Personal: Intended accounting major. Parents are Bill and Lisa. Has one younger brother, Mason.
