2023-24: Indoor – Made lone appearance at the BU Season Opener, posting a time of 14:00.43 at 5,000 meters. Outdoor – Did not complete.
Before Oregon: Broke Galen Rupp’s national high school record at 5,000 meters, running 13:37.30 at the 2023 On Running Track Fest; currently No. 2 on all-time list…ran No. 3 two-mile in prep history (8:34.33) at the 2023 Brooks PR Invitational…recorded a time of 3:58.83 in 2022, becoming the fastest-ever junior performer in the mile…added a 3:59.11 at the 2023 BU Last Chance…swept the 2022-23 Gatorade State (Mo.) Boy’s Cross Country and Track and Field Player of the Year honors; also the 2021-22 track and field winner…five-time MSHSAA Class 3 state champion including back-to-back cross country titles (2021, ’22) and 3200-meter titles (2022, ’23); also won a 1600-meter state title in 2023…runner-up at the 2022 Nike Cross Midwest Regional (14:27.3) to qualify for nationals; finished 32nd at the NXN meet.
