Nick Hattrup joined the athletic medicine staff in 2022. Hattrup is currently responsible for managing the healthcare of the Women’s Lacrosse team. Prior to his time at Oregon, Nick was a resident athletic trainer in neurotrauma and spine at Boston University.
Nick earned his bachelor’s degree from University of California- Fullerton in 2017. He continued his education with a post-professional master’s at A. T. Still University, graduating in 2019. Nick has worked in a variety of settings including Boston University, Banner Health Concussion and Sports Medicine Center, Brophy College Prep, and the Fischer Institute of Physical Therapy.
Nick’s professional interests include post-professional athletic training education, quality improvement, post-operative rehabilitation, and neurological conditions. He holds supplementary certifications in CSCS, quality improvement, dry needling, and orthopedic manipulative therapy. Additionally, Nick has presented scholarly works at state, regional, national, and international conferences.
Nick resides in Eugene and enjoys trying new foods and hiking the trails.
