Tara Wulf is entering her first season as the volunteer assistant coach at Oregon after joining the staff in the fall of 2020. Wulf arrives in Eugene after playing libero for four seasons at Baylor.
Wulf was a two-time Academic All-Big 12 First-Team selection in her four-year Baylor career. She spent her junior and senior seasons as the Bears’ starting libero, and was a part of the winningest senior class in program history.
As a senior, Wulf helped lead Baylor to a Big 12 crown and Final Four appearance, starting all 31 matches at libero. She led the team with 340 digs, averaging 3.27 per set while reaching double-figures in digs 19 times.
Wulf started at libero in 28 of 29 matches during her junior season, playing all 118 sets. She finished fourth in the Big 12 with 465 digs and 3.94 per set while leading the team and coming in eighth in the conference with 27 aces. The Burke, Va. native registered 25 double-digit dig performances, including a career-high 29 digs vs. UCLA. She earned her first career Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honor on Nov. 5 after leading the league in digs per set (7.00) that week.
