“I don't have a time goal. I just want to do something spectacular. I want to shock the world.”

1st place- Brian Schaudt (Oregon)

“It's my first time competing in the long jump there. The triple jump is by 'bread-and-butter,' so I'm just trying to pick up some points in the Long Jump any way I can.”

“It was my first time ever doing the triple jump. I had no expectations, but it was a lot of fun.

“This year I am used to things. I'm getting faster. I want to focus on triple jump and mix things up.”

“I felt good for limited practice because of football. It's difficult to balance both sports in college, but I've done it before, but it's much different than High School.”

“We had a few problems with exchanges, but once we get our form down, our team will be unstoppable.”

“For the 100, I was just out there running a race, not too much preparation for it, but for the 400, it was what we focused on in practice, and we've been building on this specific race.”

"It went pretty bad. I felt like I could do a lot better. Even though I won, I want to do better each week."

"I feel like there is some technical stuff I need to work on. I need to relax a little bit more."

"We're just looking toward the PAC-12. I'm hoping to improve and gain consistency to throw around 250."
Women's High Jump

"It was on my first attempt, and it was clean. It's been a goal of mine since my freshman year of high school."

"I'm usually not one to 'freak out' after clearing a big jump, but I 'freaked out.' I was going crazy."
On going after another personal record...
"There's still potential for a better mark. Six feet is a big barrier for a lot of jumpers, but I'm passed it, and I think I have room for improvement."

"I've always been shorter than the rest of the jumpers. I take pride in being 5'7", since it means I can really jump."
