Ducks Aiming For MKA VB Attendance Record Friday

The 16th-ranked Oregon volleyball team is looking to break the Matthew Knight Arena record for volleyball fans at a match this Friday when the Ducks take on No. 2 Stanford at 8 p.m. PT.
EUGENE, Ore. – The 16th-ranked Oregon volleyball team is looking to break the Matthew Knight Arena record for volleyball fans at a match this Friday when the Ducks take on No. 2 Stanford at 8 p.m. PT.
The Ducks (9-3, 2-2 Pac-12) are hoping to pack the MKA stands when the defending national champions come to town and #DriveFor6500 to top the previous arena volleyball attendance record of 6,210 (10/7/11).
Oregon has continued its excellent play into the Pac-12 portion of the season, as the Ducks are No. 9 in the nation in RPI and rank in the top 15 in the nation in multiple statistical categories.
Fans will also have the opportunity to get to know head coach Matt Ulmer and learn the game of volleyball before the match during Chalk Talk at 7:20 p.m. in the Founder's Club. All fans are welcome to attend Chalk Talk. Oregon players will also be available on the court after the match to meet fans and sign autographs.
