Ducks Face Cowgirls in Stillwater Super Regional

Oregon is off to the NCAA Super Regional round for the first time since 2018. The Ducks will travel to Stillwater, Okla., to face sixth-seeded Oklahoma State Thursday-Saturday at Cowgirl Stadium. The Ducks and Cowgirls met at the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge in February (3-0, OSU).
DUCKS VS. OKLAHOMA STATE
This will be the second time Oregon and Oklahoma State have met in the NCAA Tournament. The previous occasion was in 2003 when the two teams split a pair of games at the Fullerton Regional. OSU won the first game, 2-1, while the Ducks took the second game, 7-6. The Cowgirls have won the last five meetings, including a 3-0 decision Feb. 10 at the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge.
NUMBER TO KNOW
16 - 16 of the 21 players (every starter) on Oregon's roster had played in the NCAA Tournament, 12 for UO and 4 at their last school, prior to this year.
14 - Oregon scored a school NCAA Tournament record 14 runs in the Regional final against Arkansas (14-4).
4 - Allee Bunker is just the 2nd position player in UO history (4th overall) to be a 4-time all-Pac-12 selection (Kathy Stahl, INF, 1993-96).

Allee Bunker is the only player in the NCAA who has hit 10 or more home runs, while striking out 7 times or fewer, each of the last 3 seasons. Bunker is also the only player in UO history ranked in the school's career top 10 in hits, 2B, runs and RBI.
BIRD, CARLSON SHINE AT REGIONAL
Ariel Carlson had two homers and 10 RBI (including a UO tourney record 7 in the Regional final) at the NCAA Fayetteville Regional, while Tehya Bird had two homers and 7 RBI.
NFCA ALL-PACIFIC REGION HONORS
Infielder Allee Bunker, catcher Terra McGowan and pitcher Morgan Scott were named to the NFCA All-Pacific Region first team last week, while Hanna Delgado and Stevie Hansen were named to the second team. It was Bunker's fourth career All-Pacific Region honor.
PAC-12 HONORS
Infielder Allee Bunker and catcher Terra McGowan were named to both the All-Pac-12 first team and the Pac-12 All-Defensive team. Additionally, pitcher Morgan Scott was named to the second team, outfielder Hanna Delgado was named to the third team and shortstop Paige Sinicki was an All-Defensive team selection. Bunker becomes just the second position player in program history to be a four-time All-Pac-12 selection, joining infielder Kathy Stahl (1993-96). Bunker was a third-team selection in 2019, a first team pick in 2021 and a second team selection in 2022. Additionally, the Huntington Beach, Calif., native becomes the first player in program history to be a three-time Pac-12 All-Defensive honoree. McGowan was named to the first team for the second year in a row after being a second-team selection in 2021. Scott, a transfer from UNC Greensboro who was a two-time Southern Conference pitcher of the year, earned her first Pac-12 award, while Delgado earned her third straight third-team honor. Sinicki was also named to the All-Defensive team as a freshman last season.
DUCKS IN THE POLLS
Oregon currently sits at No. 19 in the NFCA Coaches' Poll and No. 19 in the ESPN/USA Softball Poll. It is Oregon's 54th consecutive appearance in the polls, dating back to the 2020 preseason poll.
TURNING TWO
Oregon is second in the Pac-12 with 21 double plays turned this season.
SCOTT SHINES
Morgan Scott threw complete game wins against five different Pac-12 schools this season. She shutout both No. 3 UCLA (3-0) and Arizona (8-0), allowed an unearned run against both No. 7 Stanford (2-1) and California (9-1) and yielded just one earned run against Arizona State (5-2). Scott has won 11 of her last 14 decisions. She is also second in the Pac-12 in fewest walks per seven innings (1.08).
CLOSING TIME
Morgan Scott leads the Pac-12 lead in saves with seven, while Raegan Breedlove has saved three games for the Ducks this season and Stevie Hansen has one.
NO SOUP FOR YOU
Catcher Terra McGowan has thrown out 11 base stealers this season. That's second in the Pac-12. She's also picked off three runners.
BUNKER STANDS ALONE IN CAREER TOP 5
Allee Bunker is the only player in program history ranked in the UO career top five in hits, doubles, runs and RBI. She's now third in hits (284), second in 2B (46), fourth in RBI (169) and fifth in runs (162).
BUNKER PASSING LEGENDS IN THE CAREER TOP 3
Allee Bunker has moved into the UO career top three in both hits and doubles. She passed Nikki Udria - now assistant coach Nikki Ragin - (2014-17) for third in hits and now shows 284. Courtney Ceo (2011-14) is second with 288. Bunker has also passed Janie (Takeda) Reed (2012-15) for second in career doubles wand now shows 46. Jenna Lilly (2015-18) is the school record holder with 52. She is also fourth in career RBI (169) and fifth in career runs (162).

Allee Bunker was selected 16th overall by the USSSA Pride in the 2023 Women's Professional Fastpitch draft. Bunker is the 19th Duck to be drafted professionally and the first since three Ducks, including No. 3 overall pick Gwen Svekis, were drafted in 2018. (3rd overall), DJ Sanders (21st overall) and Jenna Lilley (22nd).
