Oregon suffered an 88-63 loss to eighth-ranked Stanford Friday night. The Cardinal saw five players score in double figures, led by 21 from Kiki Iriafen, who also added 15 rebounds.
Stanford raced out to a 20-0 lead to start the game before the Ducks responded by scoring the next 13 points. UO's deficit was trimmed to just five points in the second quarter on a Sofia Bell 3-pointer, but Stanford scored the half's final 12 points to take a 17-point lead into halftime.
The Ducks were led by Chance Gray's 19 points and five assists while Phillipina Kyei finished with 14 points and six rebounds. Sofia Bell went 3-for-3 from the 3-point line in scoring nine points and Grace VanSlooten added eight points and a team-high seven rebounds.
Stanford converted 12 UO turnovers into 15 points while Oregon scored two points off six Cardinal giveaways.
SCOUTING california
California (12-6, 2-4) suffered a 71-64 home loss to Oregon State Friday night, dropping just its second home game in its last seven contests. Against the Beavers, Ioanna Krimili scored 20 points on 7-of-15 shooting with four rebounds. She was joined in double figures by Leilani Mcintosh's 12 points and Kemery Martin finished with 11 points off the bench.
Krimili leads Cal this season with 16.0 points per game while Marta Suarez averages 12.6 points and leads the team with 6.7 rebounds a game. McIntosh scores 11.1 an outing and rounds out three Golden Bears who average in double figures.
The Bears are No. 3 in the Pac-12 in free throw shooting at 75.3 percent and rank second in 3-point attempts per game (25.8) and fourth in 3-pointers made a game (8.1), but rank 10th in 3-point percentage at 31.4 percent. As an team, Cal's 40.4 field goal percentage is 11th in the conference while ranking 10th in rebounding margin at plus-1.9.
McIntosh is second in the league with 5.6 assists per game and eighth with her 2.3 assist-to-turnover ratio. Additionally, she ranks sixth in free throw percentage at 82.3 and eighth with 1.9 steals per game.

Sunday's game will mark the 80th all-time meeting between Oregon and California, with the Ducks owning a 46-33 edge in the series' history. The teams met just once last season, with UO coming away with a 78-73 win at Haas Pavilion.
