Rivalry Series Renews Sunday at MKA

EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon women's basketball team is set to host in-state rival Oregon State Sunday to cap the regular-season series, with tip-off set for 4 p.m. PT at Matthew Knight Arena.
The game marks UO's celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day, with Oregon female student-athletes helping put on a pregame camp on the practice courts at Matthew Knight Arena. Kids sixth grade and younger that have purchased a ticket to the game are invited to participate in this one-hour camp beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Those wishing to participate are required to register and fill out a waiver here. More info can be found at GoDucks.com/NGWSD.

Scoring only 11 first-half points, Oregon scored 37 in the second half, including 20 in the final quarter. The Ducks' offense went stagnant in the second quarter, going 0-for-10 from the floor while CU strung together a 12-0 run in the frame.
Phillipina Kyei turned in her sixth double-double in the last seven games with 12 points and 17 rebounds. Kyei is the Pac-12 leader with 14 double-doubles (tied for fifth nationally).
Grace VanSlooten led the Ducks with 16 points to go with eight boards and two assists. Chance Gray added 13 points and four rebounds, converting 8-of-12 free throws.
SCOUTING OREGON STATE
Oregon State (17-3, 6-3) jumped up seven spots in the Associated Press top-25 poll from No. 25 to No. 18 after sweeping third-ranked Colorado and 16th-ranked Utah at home last weekend. The Beavers have won five of their last six games, with the only setback coming at eighth-ranked Stanford.
The Beavers are led by sophomore Raegan Beers, who averages 18.8 points and 11.0 rebounds a game while shooting 67.9 percent from the floor. Talia Von Oelhoffen is second on the team in scoring at 10.6 per game.
As a team, OSU boasts the Pac-12's best defense in terms of shooting percentage, with opponents shooting just 34.5 percent. The Beavers are also the league leaders in defensive rebounds per game (32.0) and bench points per game (26.5).
Freshman Donovyn Hunter is the reigning Pac-12 Freshman of the Week after scoring 16 in the win over the Buffaloes before a career-high 18 against the Utes.
