11/26/24 | Women's Volleyball
No. 13 Oregon hosts its third top-10 opponent at Matthew Knight Arena this season.
EUGENE, Ore. – In its regular-season home finale, the No. 13 Oregon volleyball team will play host to ninth-ranked Purdue Wednesday night at Matthew Knight Arena. First serve of the top-15 matchup is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
The Ducks will then travel to Los Angeles to play UCLA Friday afternoon (1:30 p.m., Peacock).
Series History vs Purdue
Wednesday will mark the fifth all-time meeting between Oregon and Purdue, and the first played on either team's home floor. The previous four were neutral-site matches including the last two played during the 2021 (spring) and 2023 NCAA Tournaments. Prior to the Ducks' straight-set victory in last year's regional semifinal, Purdue had won the first three in the all-time series; the teams first met in 1984.
A Look Back
Oregon and Purdue met in last year's NCAA Madison Region semifinal resulting in the Ducks' 3-0 win behind 14 kills a piece from Mimi Colyer and Morgan Lewis. Colyer also tallied 11 digs to complete a double-double while Daley McClellan had six digs and an ace in the win. Colyer and McClellan are the only two UO players on the 2024 roster to play in that match. The Purdue outside duo of Eva Hudson and Chloe Chicoine had 12 and 10 kills, respectively.
Series History vs UCLA
Oregon has won five-consecutive matches against UCLA, the program's longest winning streak in the series. The Ducks came away with a home sweep in the first meeting this season (Nov. 2). Oregon hit .380 in the victory with Michelle Ohwobete and Onye Ofoegbu leading the team with 15 and 11 kills, respectively. Dating back to 2018, Oregon has won nine of the past 12 meetings; three of those wins have come on the Bruins' home floor.

The Ducks capped a 2-0 weekend on the road with a straight-set win at Michigan (Nov. 23). Michelle Ohwobete hit .435 on her way to 12 kills and Mimi Colyer led Oregon with 14 kills. The Ducks put up 11.5 total team blocks, their fifth straight with double-digit blocks, and Mackenzie Morris picked up a match-high 15 digs. The Ducks held Michigan to a .117 hitting percentage on its home floor.
