
Ducks to Celebrate Senior Class Saturday

EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon women's basketball team will play its final home game of the regular season and honor a three-member senior class Saturday afternoon, as the Ducks host No. 4 Stanford at 2 p.m. PT at Matthew Knight Arena.
In a postgame ceremony, UO will recognize seniors Ula Chamberlin, Bella Hamel and Kennedi Williams. Fifth-year senior Peyton Scott announced this week that she will seek a medical hardship waiver with hopes to return to Oregon next season after suffering a season-ending knee injury in the season opener.

Oregon suffered its 12th straight loss Thursday against Cal 62-59. The Ducks claimed their first lead early in the fourth quarter and led by six with just over four minutes to play before the Golden Bears closed the night on a 12-3 run.
UO got a team-leading 17 points and six assists from Chance Gray, while Grace VanSlooten (14 points, 11 rebounds) and Phillipina Kyei (10 points, 11 rebounds) each recorded double-doubles.
Phillipina Kyei logged double-double No. 20 of the season, moving her into a sixth-place tie with Sabrina Ionescu in a single season in UO history. For VanSlooten, it marked her eighth double-double of the season and 10th of her career.
SCOUTING STANFORD
Fourth-ranked Stanford (25-4, 14-3) claimed the outright regular-season Pac-12 title after a 67-63 win at Oregon State Thursday night. Overall, the Cardinal have won six of their last seven games and 10 of the last 12 games. SU boasts an 8-1 road record during league play.
Stanford's roster is highlighted by two players averaging a double-double on the season, with Kiki Iriafen averaging 18.6 points and 11.0 rebounds a game to pair with Cameron Brink's 17.9 points and 11.7 boards a night. Hannah Jump adds 10.5 points per game and leads her team with 64 made 3-pointers.
Brink is the Pac-12 leader in blocks per game, free throw shooting and defensive rebounds per game. Brink (15) and Iriafen (14) are second and third, respectively, in the conference in double-doubles behind Oregon's Phillipina Kyei.
As a team, Stanford leads the conference in scoring margin, rebounding, rebounding margin and free throw shooting while ranking second in assist-to-turnover ratio and scoring defense.

Saturday's game will be the 77th all-time meeting between Oregon and Stanford, with the Cardinal owning a 62-14 edge in the series' history. The Cardinal have won seven straight games in the series, going back to the 2021-22 season, after the Ducks had won five of the previous six matchups.
