Fall Season Kicks Off at Duck Invitational
10/02/25 | Women's Tennis
EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon women's tennis team is set for its first event of the fall season, as the Ducks will welcome Portland, Utah, Washington and Washington State to the Student Tennis Center for the three-day Duck Invitational starting Friday.
Competition will begin at 9 a.m. each day, with two rounds of doubles and one round of singles play on Friday. Saturday will feature a round of doubles followed by a round of singles, while Sunday will feature just one round of singles play.
Matches will be played on both the indoor and outdoor courts, weather permitting. Those matches played indoors will have a free live stream available through GoDucks.com.
The Duck Invitational marks the first fall event for eighth-year head coach Courtney Nagle's squad. The 2025-26 edition of the team features six returners to pair with three freshmen. Seven of the nine Ducks on the roster are either freshmen or sophomores in addition to junior Tilde Jagare and redshirt senior Olivia Symons.
Sophomore and Eugene native Patsy Daughters was tabbed Big Ten Freshman of the Week last spring and collected 13 singles wins in her freshman campaign. Jagare led the Ducks with 14 singles victories last spring, while Symons was named Big Ten Player to Watch before the 2025 spring season.
All Oregon tennis matches are free and open to the public at the Student Tennis Center.
