HELLO, 2026
Oregon welcomes former conference opponent Arizona State to Papé Field for the 2026 season opener, kicking off it's fourth season under head coach Jess Drummond. Oregon sports a perfect 9-0 record when opening the season at Papé Field. The Sun Devils lead the series 7-4 all time, but the Ducks are 3-2 at home. The last regular season matchup was a 20-12 home conference win for Oregon, followed by a 19-12 loss in Los Angeles during the 2024 Pac-12 Tournament Quarterfinals.
SENIOR SPOTLIGHT
After graduating last year's scoring leader Bri Carrasquillo, a new group of leaders takes the stage entering the 2026 season. Offensive star Anna Simmons scored 20 goals in the first four games of the season - the most in any four game stretch in program history - and looks to improve on her 33 total scores from last year. Simmons also tied the program record with seven goals against Stetson. In the midfield, senior Rachel Pallo totaled 86 draw controls last season, the second most in a single season in program history, and tied her own program record with 12 draw controls in a win over Columbia. Simmons and Pallo are joined by Emma Ing and Jenae Sperling as four returners who started all 16 games last year. Returners Jadyn Laing, Kylee Manser and Riley Taylor add veteran experience to the roster, and Oregon also welcomed graduate transfer Shelby Hahn.
B1G IMPACT
Oregon trio Lexi Jenkins, Gabby Santucci and Anna Simmons were named to the Big Ten Preseason Players to Watch list. The only junior among the Ducks' 2026 captains, Jenkins was a consistent force across her first two seasons as a Duck, starting 31 consecutive games as a defender and finishing 2025 with 36 draw controls, 20 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers. Santucci finished with 15 goals across five games as a sophomore, including three hat-tricks, before her season was cut short due to an injury. Santucci led all Oregon freshmen with six goals in 2024 while playing in all 12 games. 20 of Simmons' 33 goals last season came in the first four games of last season, the most in any four-game stretch in program history, including a season-high seven against Stetson, that tied the UO single-game record.
NEW YEAR, NEW DUCKS
As head coach Jessica Drummond continues to build her program at Oregon, the Ducks welcomed 13 new players to the roster in 2026. Three transfers in graduate defender Shelby Hahn, sophomore midfielder Jaeda Jensen and redshirt junior goalkeeper Francesca Viteritti look to make immediate impacts in the Oregon lineup. An incoming class of 10 freshmen provides a promising future for the Ducks as they solidify their places within the team.
