Wide body gives Oregon an immediate physical presence around the basket. Highly-sought after junior college transfer should make in immediate impact. Will offset the loss of Mitch Platt, who is redshirting this season. A late September addition to the team after being released from his National Letter of Intent by Cincinnati. Received the scholarship that opened up when Jordan Kent’s was shifted to the football team.
BEFORE OREGON
Averaged 22.3 points, 12.2 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game as a sophomore for Los Angeles Southwest College. Earned all-state honors at the California junior college level in 2004-05 after leading all California JUCO leagues in rebounding and ranking eighth in scoring. In league games only, paced the South Coast Conference in scoring at 25.4 points per game. Was named to the league’s South Division first team. Shot 56 percent from the field and 77 percent at the free throw line as LASC went 23-8 in 2004-05 and advanced to the JUCO state regional finals. Played his freshman year (2002-03) at Cisco Junior College in Cisco, Texas, and redshirted the 2003-04 season. Played basketball, football and competed in the shot put for Fox Tech High School.

Junior College: Cisco Junior College. Junior College (Coach): Los Angeles Southwest (Reggie Morris). Major is political science.
