2005-06
Mature influence both on the floor and in the locker room. Experienced at point guard, shooting guard and the wing or small forward positions. Exceptionally soft touch. Looking to bookend his career with another appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
2004-05
Steady performer off the bench averaged 3.9 points and 1.4 rebounds per game. Played in all 27 contests. Solid all-around contributions in the Nov. 22 win against New Mexico with four points, a career-high five rebounds, two steals and a career-high two blocks. Scored 10 points in win against Vanderbilt at the Rose Garden. Netted 10 points at California. Season-high four assists at Oregon State. Another solid all-around effort in the home overtime loss to Washington with four points, four rebounds and three assists. Five points in the Feb. 24 home win over California.
2003-04
Promising start to the season unraveled after a tough transition to the starting point guard spot. Played in all 31 games and made eight starts. Averaged 3.1 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. Scored eight points with four rebounds in the season opener versus Fresno State. Matched career-high with 12 points (six-of-nine free throws) in win against Portland State. Had 10 points in win against Marshall in the Pape’ Jam. Seven points and three assists at Portland. Made first career start at Oregon State and scored six points to go with four rebounds. Started the next four games for the Ducks but struggled from the floor as his point guard duties increased. After spending the next four games as a reserve, started at Washington State and played 41 minutes, scoring nine points in difficult overtime win. Career-best seven assists versus Arizona. Had five points in Pac-10 tournament win against California.
2002-03
Came off the bench to see action in 26 games. Averaged 2.4 points per game. Six points in the season opener versus Grambling State. Career-high 12 points in 15 minutes Dec. 28 versus UC Riverside. Nailed 3-of-3 three pointers against the Highlanders. Four points and two assists in 19 minutes in Feb. 6 win against Stanford, where he played point guard for nearly the entire first half after Luke Ridnour went to the bench with two fouls in the first two minutes. Grabbed season-best four rebounds Feb. 27 versus USC.
BEFORE OREGON
Ranked 67th among the nation’s top 100 high school seniors by ESPN.com, and No. 2 in the state of Oregon. Rated as a “Super Prospect” by FansOnly.com. An all-state second team selection who scored 15.4 points per game as Jefferson went 15-7 and finished eighth in the state and second in the P.I.L. Named MVP of the Northwest Shootout. Scored 11.6 points per game as a junior playing behind a pair of players, Aaron Miles and Michael Lee, who are now at Kansas. Teamed with those two on the 2000 Jefferson team that went 28-0 and won the 4A state title. Was one of 43 prep players invited to the 2001 USA Basketball youth developmental festival, held June, 2001, at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
