Pac-10 scorer in the hammer in 2010. Had a pair of PRs as a junior. 2008 Division II NCAA qualifier transferred to Oregon from Western Oregon University. Before that was home schooled while competing for Central High School.
2010-11: Outdoors - Wrapped us year with season-best hammer toss of 170-2/51.87m at the Oregon Twilight. Threw 170-0/51.83m at the Oregon Relays. Went 161-11/49.36m at the Pepsi Team Invitational. Also threw the hammer at the Oregon Preview and the Stanford Invitational. Indoors - Made season debut in the weight throw at the UW Invitational. Also tossed the weight throw at the Husky Invitational and MPSF Championships. Season Bests: Outdoors - Hammer - 170-2/51.87m, Oregon Twilight, Eugene, Ore., (5/6/11). Indoors - Weight Throw - 49-5/15.06m (PR), Husky Classic, Seattle, Wash. (2/12/11).
2009-10: Outdoors - Scored a point for the Pac-10 champions with her eighth-place finish in the hammer (164-9/50.23m). Hammer specialist opened season with a PR of 168-11/51.49m at the Oregon Preview. Improved that to a personal-best 170-6/51.97m in a win at the Pepsi Team Invitational. Also competed at the Oregon Relays and the Oregon Twilight. Indoors - Competed in the weight throw at the UW Indoor Preview. Season Bests: Outdoors - Hammer - 170-6/51.97m (PR), Pepsi Team Invitational, Eugene, Ore. (4/10/10).
2008-09: Outdoors - Saw action in four meets at Hayward Field, mainly in the hammer. Won the hammer in the B section of the Oregon Relays with a season-best throw of 165-8/50.51m. Season Bests: Outdoors - Hammer - 165-8/50.51m (PR), Oregon Relays, Eugene, Ore. (4/25/09).
Before Oregon: An NCAA Division II national qualifier in the hammer for Western Oregon. WOU best of 165-4 came at the NCAA Championships. That throw ranked in the top six of the WOU career list. Also threw 46-10 in the weight throw to finish third at the GNAC Championships. A four-year letterwinner in track and basketball for Central High School. Western Oregon Bests: Hammer Throw - 165-4, 2008 NCAA Division II Championships.
Personal: Major is sociology. Is the oldest of eight siblings.
