Summer 2024: Became the No. 7 performer on the program’s top-10 list in the 800 meters … lifetime best of 1:45.74 at the Portland Track Festival in early June … finished third (1:46.79) at Canadian Bell Track and Field Championships … clocked a 1:46.43 at the Jerome Track Classic.
2023-24: Indoor – Became the No. 7 performer in program history in the 800 meters … ran 1:47.92 at the Razorback Invitational, finished seventh overall … took more than two seconds off previous indoor best of 1:49.96 from two years prior … finished fourth at the Eagle Elite in a time of 1:48.48 … also ran opening leg—1200 meters—of victorious distance medley relay (9:35.90) at the Eagle Elite … was sixth overall and second among collegians over 1,000 meters with a time of 2:20.96 at UW Indoor Preview. Outdoor – NCAA West qualifier (800 meters) … third place in the 800 meters at Pac-12 Championships, posted a time of 1:48.84 in the final … also helped the 4x400 relay score with an eighth-place finish at the conference meet … lowered season best from 1:47.95 to 1:47.87 with performance at Bryan Clay Invitational … posted splits of 1:48.20—4x800—and 1:47.05—DMR—at Penn Relays; runner-up in the 4x800 and fourth place in the distance medley relay … ran 1:48.44 in second round of the NCAA West meet; finished 14th overall, just two spots shy of a national qualifier … ran a lifetime best of 3:45.38 for 1600 meters at the Oregon Preview; finished third … runner-up finish over 400 meters in lifetime-best time of 47.66 at the Oregon Twilight.
Summer 2023: Finished fifth in the invitational section (1:48.27) of the 800 meters at the Nike Outdoor Nationals meet at Hayward Field.
2022-23: Indoor – competed in two meets; runner-up effort over 600 meters in 1:18.96 at the season-opening UW Preview…clocked a 1:50.71 in the 800 meters at the UW Invite (Jan. 28); took first place with the DMR that clocked a time of 9:43.27. Outdoor – NCAA Championships qualifier (800m)…began outdoor campaign with a 1:49.06 at the Bryan Clay Invitational…registered a lifetime best of 48.89 over 400 meters at the OSU High Performance (April 29)...closed out the regular season with a victory at the Oregon Twilight, stopping the clock in 1:49.72 for 800 meters…finished third at Pac-12 Championships for a second time in his career; ran a then-season best of 1:48.98 in the conference final…ran back-to-back lifetime bests at the NCAA West Preliminary with times of 1:47.14 in the opening round and then 1:46.84 to secure a national qualifier…finished 15th in the semifinals of the 800 meters (1:49.42) at the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas.
Summer 2022: Canadian U20 champion at 800 meters…represented his home country at the World Athletics U20 Championships in Colombia…advanced to the semifinals; ninth overall (1:48.42) in the round, just one spot shy of moving on the final.
2021-22: Indoor – made collegiate debut at the Razorback Invitational in the mile (4:11.35) and as the 400-meter leg of the Oregon ‘B’ DMR…clocked in at 1:49.96 over 800 meters at the Windy City Invite to finish second in section one and ninth overall…also ran the 800-meter leg of the DMR that posted a time of 9:34.70 at the Chicago meet…ran 1:50.19 at the BU Last Chance. Outdoor – NCAA West Preliminary qualifier…won the 1500 meters at the Hayward Premiere (April 1) in 3:48.58…lowered lifetime best in the event to 3:47.66 in a runner-up performance at the Oregon Relays; also finished fifth in the 800 meters (1:48.68) at the home meet…in Pac-12 Championships debut, posted a time of 1:49.74 to collect third-place points at Hayward Field…also ran a leg of the Ducks’ 4x400-meter relay that placed seventh at the conference meet…clocked a season best of 1:48.27 in the opening round of the 800 meters at the NCAA West Preliminary…ran 1:49.68 in the quarterfinal round, finished 21st overall.
Before Oregon: Represented Canada in the 800 meters during the 2021 World U20 Championships in Nairobi, Kenya…ran 1:52.38 in the heats…lowered his lifetime best to 1:50.11 at the BC Endurance Challenge in July 2021…earlier in the summer, established PRs of 3:53.64 over 1500 meters and 4:11.55 in the mile…swept 800- and 1500-meter titles at 2019 U18 Canadian League Championships…10-time BC provincial champion—6x in cross country, 4x in 800/1500 meters—in respective age groups…set the BC junior high school record of 3:55.74 for 1500 meters at the 2019 BC High School Championships…also owns bests of 49.3 at 400 meters and 6:01.28 in the 2,000-meter steeplechase.
