Jordan Sylvester joined Oregon as a sports dietitian in September 2018. She works with the baseball, soccer, lacrosse and golf programs.
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Sylvester received BS degrees in both dietetics and consumer foods from the University of Georgia. She went on to complete her dietetic internship and master’s in clinical dietetics at Oregon Health & Science University. She is a registered dietitian and board certified specialist in sports dietetics.
Prior to her time at Oregon, Sylvester was the 2018 championship season dietitian for the Chicago Cubs’ short-A affiliate, the Eugene Emeralds. She was a sports dietitian for Clemson University’s basketball, soccer, tennis, and golf programs as well as a consultant with Portland State University during graduate school. Jordan’s sports nutrition career began when she served as an undergraduate intern for the University of Georgia’s football team.
