A 2007 graduate of Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins, Colo...a four-sport athlete for the Lobos, participated in fours years of volleyball for coaches Craig Roberts and Krista Schwartz...also played two seasons of basketball at forward, two years of soccer and one year of track competing in the high jump...as a freshman on the volleyball team was named “Rookie of the Year” as her team qualified for the state championships...the starting setter was named all-conference the following two seasons and as a sophomore was named team MVP...in 2004 was named all-conference honorable mention for basketball...was also an academic all-state selection with a 3.98 GPA...graduated with honors and was a three-year member of the National Honors Society...was a member of the Teen Leadership Coalition and Youth for Justice for three years...played her club volleyball for head coach Tom Hunter and the Norco Black.
