Erica Bellamy (Kendrick) joined the Athletic Medicine staff in 2016. Bellamy is responsible for managing the healthcare of the women’s indoor and beach volleyball teams. Prior to her time at Oregon, Erica served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Illinois State University.
Erica earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Florida State University (2012). She then went on to earn her master’s degree in exercise science from Auburn University (2013). While at Auburn, Bellamy served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the Warrior Athletic Training Program where she had the unique opportunity to work with the men and women of the United States Army at Fort Benning, overseeing daily basic combat training events. She has also served as a certified intern athletic trainer at Northwestern University.
Erica’s professional service opportunities include serving as the Oregon Athletic Trainers’ Society Young Professionals Committee Chair and the Oregon representative for the NWATA (D-10) Young Professionals’ Committee. She also serves as a preceptor to student athletic trainers in the Pacific University athletic training program. Her professional interests include manual therapies, the evaluation and rehabilitation of lumbopelvic pathologies, and pain management. She holds an additional certification in Blood Flow Restriction Therapy and has additional training with Graston Technique.
A native of Sugar Grove, Illinois by way of Lafayette, Indiana, Erica now resides in Eugene with her husband, Evan and their cat, Vino. The Bellamys enjoy perfecting new recipes on the grill outdoors, visiting local breweries, and spending time with friends and family.
