Oregon Soccer Travels to UNLV Tournament

EUGENE, Ore. -- The University of Oregon soccer team (2-1-2) will hit the road this week for a pair of matches at the UNLV Nike Tournament. The Ducks open play against host team UNLV (4-1) on Friday night at 7 p.m. (PST), before closing the weekend with a 10:30 a.m. neutral-site contest against Kansas (2-1) on Sunday morning.
Friday matches: Kansas vs. CS Northridge, 4:30 p.m. | Oregon vs. UNLV, 7:00 p.m.
Sunday matches: Oregon vs. Kansas, 10:30 a.m. | CS Northridge vs. UNLV, 1:00 p.m.

LAST WEEK FOR THE DUCKS
The Ducks went 1-0-1 over the weekend in hosting the 2010 Nike Invitational at Pape' Field in Eugene. Oregon opened the tournament on Friday with a 3-1 win over UC Davis. The Ducks scored in the 12th minute (Kelsey Hones), the 62nd minute (Brynne Konkel, first collegiate goal) and the 73rd minute (Jen Stoltenberg). Oregon battled to a 1-1 draw on Sunday afternoon against Pacific, despite out-shooting the Tigers 19-8. Stoltenberg scored UO's only goal - her third of the season - in the 26th minute of action. Stoltenberg, fellow senior Bree Rowe and sophomore Scout Libke were named to the all-tournament team.
ERICKSON TIES OREGON ALL-TIME COACHING WINS MARK
Head coach Tara Erickson tied the school mark for career coaching wins with last Friday's victory over UC Davis. Erickson has a six-year mark of 49-43-12 in her time with UO, tying her with Bill Steffen who posted 49 victories in nine years as mentor for the Ducks.

Senior forward Jen Stoltenberg was recently named to TopDrawerSoccer.com's College Players To Watch Top 100 Upperclass Women's Rankings. The Mission Viejo, Calif., product currently ranks No. 37 on the website's listing, which is comprised of sophomores, juniors, and seniors only, and will be updated weekly.
DUCK DUO MAKING WAY UP CAREER STATISTICAL CHARTS
Senior forward Jen Stoltenberg and junior goalkeeper Cody Miles are making their marks on the career charts at Oregon. Stoltenberg ranks third all-time in career points (63), goals (24), assists (15) and shots (183). Miles, from Salem, Ore., is second in career shutouts (12), third in goalkeeper wins (20) and fifth in saves (129).
SEASON-TICKET SCARVES AVAILABLE FOR 2010
Fans now have the opportunity to purchase a limited edition scarf which will serve as a season ticket for the 2010 season. The scarves sell for $40 and are available for purchase online at goducks.com, over the phone at 1-800-WEBFOOT, or at the ticket gate for any upcoming UO soccer match. This yellow and green commemorative piece will serve as the fan's admittance to the games. Single-game tickets are also available at the ticket gate ($5 for adults and $3 for children).
