State Player of the Year Highlights Transfer Class
12/30/25 | Women's Soccer
EUGENE, Ore. – Portland native Ellie Felt, a prep All-American and the 2023 Oregon Gatorade Player of the Year for Sunset High School, leads a class of five transfers who will join the Ducks for the 2026 season.
In addition to Felt, a midfielder who played at Nebraska in 2025 and will be a sophomore, the class includes junior forward Lauren Hunter (Santa Clara), sophomore goalkeeper Brynn Korpela (San Diego State), sophomore midfielder Logan Russo (Texas Tech) and sophomore midfielder Maddie Sharrer (Colorado). All five will begin training with the Ducks this spring.
"We are very excited about this incoming group of transfers and are confident they will immediately impact our program," said coach Tracy Joyner. "Each of them are competitors. They are willing to put in the work and contribute to building an amazing program. We welcome them into our Duck family with open wings."

BEFORE OREGON
Played in all 18 games for Nebraska her freshman season … Took 19 shots with seven on target and scored a goal in the Cornhuskers' season opener against Southern Indiana … Season-high three shot attempts versus Missouri State (8/17) and Purdue (10/9) … Enrolled at Oregon State for a term in the fall of 2024 before transferring to Nebraska.
