Ducks Make Final Road Trip of Regular Season

EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon women's soccer team will face Washington and Washington State on the team's final road trip of the regular season.

Oregon will enter the weekend 8-81 overall and 2-6 in Pac-12 play.
The Ducks are No. 36 in the NCAA RPI rankings – a big increase from last week's No. 51 spot.
The Opponents: The Washington Huskies are 6-10-1 overall and 1-7 in the conference.
On Sunday, the Huskies faced USC on the road and fell by a lone goal.
In the 49th minute, Alex Anthony found service from Leah Pruitt to solidify the victory for the Trojans. The goal was her seventh of the season.
USC outshot UW 15 (six on frame) to 11 (two one frame). Washington earned four corner kicks, while the Trojans had five.
In goal, Kaylyn Smith made five saves for UW and Sammy Jo Prudhomme made two for USC.
The Washington State Cougars are 6-9-1 on the season and 1-7 in Pac-12 play.
On Sunday, the Cougars fell to the UCLA Bruins 2-1.
In the 18th minute, Courtney Proctor scored off an assist from Teagan Micah to put the Bruins on the board.
In the 77th minute, WSU responded as Kelsee Crenshaw found Alysha Overland in the box.
Just one minute later however, Gabbi Miranda scored the Bruins' game-winner. Annie Alvarado was credited with the assist.
The Cougars had 14 shots on the night (six on frame) and UCLA had nine (five on frame). The Bruins had seven corner kick opportunities, while WSU had three.
In goal, WSU's Ella Dederick had two saves and Teagan Micah made two for UCLA.
Last Time Out: The Ducks swept the weekend against Arizona (1-0) and Arizona State (4-0) for their first two Pac-12 wins.
Senior Maryn Beutler scored back-to-back game-winning goals, a feat that earned the Bend, Ore. native her first career Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week nod.
As a key piece of the Ducks' defense, redshirt junior Caitlyn Wong was named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week. The laurel is her second of the season (8/30).
On Sunday, Oregon's offense exploded and bested ASU 4-0.
The last time the Ducks scored four goals against a Pac-12 opponent was against Arizona in 2010, 4-0.
The four goals account for most in a game since 2012, when Oregon beat Gonzaga 4-2.
The Ducks are now at 24 goals on the season, the most since 2010 (29).
Beutler (asst. sophomore Marissa Everett, 5 mins), sophomore Bayley Bruner (47 mins), junior Abby Morrow (asst. Everett, 49 mins) and sophomore Sofia Chambers (PK, 50 mins) all scored for the Ducks.
Throughout the match, both the Sun Devils and Ducks had twelve shots – four and six on frame, respectively. ASU had six corner kicks, while the Ducks had two.
In goal, freshman Katelyn Carter split time with senior goalkeeper Lauren Holden. They both picked up two key saves. Carter's record is 5-2-1.
Looking Ahead: The Ducks will play the final home game of the season on Friday, Nov. 4 against Oregon State. In the Civil War match-up, the Ducks and Beavers have an all-time series record of 9-7-4, UO.
