Ducks Prepare to Compete at U.S. Lacrosse Headquarters

The Oregon lacrosse team faces Ohio State at the U.S. Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland, on Saturday.
EUGENE, Ore. - Oregon travels to the U.S. Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland, to face Ohio State on Saturday, March 30, at 9:00 a.m.
GOLDEN GOALIE
Goalkeeper Rachel Hall has captured national attention with her performance in the net this season. The freshman leads the nation in saves with 141 saves through 11 games. Her 12.82 saves per game ranks second in the NCAA and first in the Pac-12 Conference. Hall has registered double-digit saves in seven of Oregon's 11 games this season and has a .486 save percentage that stands at fourth in the Pac-12.
Hall has already broken two Oregon program records this season. She set a new single-game record with 19 saves at California on March 10, replacing Anna Poponyak's previous record of 18 saves vs. Virginia Tech on April 11, 2009. The Texas native is also the Ducks' reigning all-time leader in save percentage at .486 with 141 saves and 149 goals allowed over 11 games.
RECORD-SETTING SENIOR
Senior attacker Shannon Williams surpassed the 150 career goals mark with a hat trick against Delaware on March 27. Her 152 career goals over 63 games ranks 13th among active Division I players. Williams became Oregon's all-time leader in points and goals this season. The senior captain broke Shannon Propst's record for career points (219 points; 2011-14) with her 220th point at California on March 8. Her current 239 career points rank ninth among active Division I players.
Williams broke Jana Drummond's record for career goals (146 goals; 2009-12) the following week with her 147th goal vs. Southern California on March 17. She also holds UO's all-time program records in points per game (3.79) and goals per game (2.41) and set two single-season records with 74 points in 2018 and 4.24 points per game in 2017.
FRESHMAN LEADERS
Attacker Carlie Leach and midfielder Jamie Level have combined for for 35 points and 27 goals this season. The freshman duo follows senior Shannon Williams as Oregon's second and third-highest scorers this season. Leach has scored 20 points off 17 goals and three assists in 11 games, while Level has registered 15 points off 10 goals and five assists.
Level has led Oregon on the draw this season with 41 draw controls over 11 games. Her 41 draw controls rank fourth in the Pac-12 Conference. Meanwhile, Leach's shot percentage of 54.8 percent stands at fourth in the Pac-12 Conference.
IMPACTFUL PLAYERS
Senior Julia Taylor and sophomore Claire Domshick have played an important role on the Ducks' offense this season. The pair have put up 10 goals each for Oregon and recorded hat tricks in the Ducks' home opener against Mercer on Feb. 9, while Taylor added another hat trick at Delaware on March 27.
Meanwhile, senior Madeline Reece and junior Gracyn Elliott have played an important role on the Ducks' defense. Reece leads the Ducks with 24 grounds balls and 11 caused turnovers and has registered 29 draw controls this season. She stands at No. 5 for ground balls in the Pac-12 Conference.
