EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon women's soccer team will host four NCAA Tournament teams this fall as well as non-conference foes Portland and Villanova.
The 2019 schedule, which was released Wednesday, has nine home matches and 10 road tilts for a Ducks' squad coming off its best season (9-9-1) in a decade.
After hosting an exhibition with British Columbia on Aug. 17, the Ducks open the 2019 season on the road at Fresno State (Aug. 22) and Santa Clara (Aug. 25). The Broncos advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament last year.
The home opener is Aug. 30 against Portland State before Villanova makes its first trip to Eugene on Sept. 1.
Oregon then visits the Palmetto State for games at Clemson (Sept. 6) and Furman (Sept. 8). Oregon defeated the Tigers last season in Eugene before Clemson went on to make the 2018 NCAA Tournament.
The Ducks' final non-conference games are Sept. 13 versus Portland and Sept. 22 against Buffalo. Both matches will be at Pape' Field.
Oregon ventures out on the road for three straight matches to open Pac-12 play. The Ducks are at Washington on Sept. 27, at Colorado on Oct. 3 and at Utah on Oct. 6.
The Ducks will then return to Eugene for three straight home games. California is in town on Oct. 10, followed by NCAA Final Four participant Stanford (Oct. 13) and Washington State (Oct. 19). The Cougars advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament a year ago.
Oregon faces another NCAA second round team in Arizona Oct. 24 in Tucson before visiting Arizona State Oct. 27.
The Ducks wrap up the home schedule with USC on Oct. 31 and UCLA on Nov. 3. The Trojans were an NCAA Sweet 16 team in 2018, while the Bruins advanced all the way to the Elite Eight. The UCLA match will be the Ducks' fifth contest against a 2018 NCAA Tournament team in the span of six games.
The 2019 season concludes with the Civil War Nov. 7 at Oregon State.
The games against Portland, Washington, Cal, Stanford, Arizona, USC and OSU will be televised live on Pac-12 Network. All other home and Pac-12 matches will be shown live on Pac-12 Live Stream.
