Oregon Begins Final Home Stretch Against Arizona State

EUGENE, Ore. - The Ducks (4-7, 0-5 Pac-12) host their final two home games of the season this weekend beginning with a matchup against the Sun Devils (4-8, 3-4 Pac-12).
Oregon is coming off its fourth win of the season, a 13-12, come-from-behind, overtime victory UC Davis. The win marked the first over the Aggies and in overtime since the 2018 the season.

THE DUCKS vs. THE SUN DEVILS
Oregon and Arizona State face off for the second time this year and the ninth time overall. The Sun Devils took the first matchup of the season, 12-9, in Tempe, Ariz. Gabby Cleveland led all Duck scorers with two goals, also adding a pair of caused turnovers in the defeat. The Sun Devils are off to a 4-8 start under first-year head coach Taryn VanThof.
DUCKS PREVAIL IN OVERTIME
Oregon overcame an early four-goal deficit and scored two goals in the final 1:30 of regulation to force its second consecutive overtime game against UC Davis. Morgan McCarthy secured Oregon's fourth win of the season with her game-leading fourth goal on the day to clinch the Ducks' overtime win.
» Eight UO players scored a goal in the Ducks' winning effort.
» Sophomore Lauren Rismani had her fifth game of the season with three-or-more points against the Aggies.
» Maggie Flynn finished with the most caused turnovers by a Duck in a game this season (3), and Margot Hotham added her third game of the season with multiple caused turnovers while tying a career-best with six ground balls.
MORGAN IN THE MIDDLE
A constant for the Ducks, team captain Morgan McCarthy is impacting the game in every phase for Oregon this season. The midfielder became the first Duck at the position to take home All-Pac 12 honors after receiving second-team recognition in 2022.
» Leads Oregon with 28 points, 26 draw controls and is tied for the team lead with 25 goals. She is tied for second among UO players with 16 ground balls.
» Currently carries a 22-game scoring streak, totaling 45 goals in the stretch.
» Became the 10th player in UO history with 50 goals and 100 draw controls in a career on March 3 against Navy.
