EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon volleyball team hits the halfway point of its Big Ten slate this week starting with Wednesday's road match at No. 25 UCLA (7 p.m., BTN). The Ducks are then back home Sunday to host 12th-ranked Wisconsin at 1 p.m. Oregon carries a 12-6 overall record with a 3-5 tally in Big Ten play.
Series History vs UCLA
Oregon has won six-consecutive matches against UCLA, the program's longest winning streak in the all-time series. UCLA leads the all-time series, 59-21, but dating back to 2018, the Ducks have won 10 of the past 13 meetings including last year's regular-season finale (W, 3-1) in Los Angeles. U
Series History vs Wisconsin
Sunday's match will be just the fifth meeting between Oregon and Wisconsin, and the first-ever matchup in Eugene. Two of the previous four meetings have come in the NCAA Tournament (2015, '23). The Badgers hold a 3-1 lead in the short history between the programs.
Last Time Out
Oregon saved a pair of match points before ultimately falling to No. 17 Penn State in four sets at Matthew Knight Arena (Oct. 18). Freshman Alanah Clemente tallied 23 kills for a second time in as many matches in as many days. The Ducks served up nine aces, their ninth outing of the year with at least eight service winners. Reese Sheppard and Iva Sucurovic each had three aces against the Nittany Lions.
Putting on a Show
Freshman Alanah Clemente accounted for 6.75 points per set including 5.75 kills per set while hitting .323 against top-20 opponents Minnesota and Penn State. She turned in back-to-back 23-kill performances and added a season-high six aces against the Gophers. Clemente leads all Big Ten freshmen and ranks ninth in the league overall with 4.23 points per set, and is one of nine freshmen in the country averaging at least four points per set.
Hey 'Bro
In her second start as full-time libero, freshman Reese Sheppard picked up a season-high 12 digs against Penn State (Oct. 18). The Puyallup, Wash., native also contributed six digs and a season-high three aces. Sheppard began that weekend with 11 digs, three assists and an ace in the Ducks' four-set victory over then-No. 18 Minnesota.
Service Pressure
The Ducks have seven or more aces in 11 matches this season including at least eight service winners in six of eight Big Ten matches entering the week. Thirteen UO players have at least one aces including four in double figures. Valentina Vaulet and Alanah Clemente rank fourth and fifth in the Big Ten with 30 and 27 aces, respectively. Collectively, Oregon ranks third in the Big Ten with 120 service aces.
RPI Watch
Oregon (12-6, 3-5 B1G) ranks 58th in the Oct. 20 release of the NCAA RPI. The team's next 10 matches will be played against teams inside the RPI top 35 including this week's opponents UCLA (No. 29) and Wisconsin (15).

Senior Cora Taylor enters the week ninth among active NCAA setters with 3,587 career assists. She reached 3,500 for her career with her 22nd assist against Washington (Oct. 12). She had three outings this season with at least 45 assists. Taylor began her career at Butler (2022-24) where she posted 3,036 assists.
