Brian Greene joined the Athletic Medicine staff in the summer of 2019. Greene is the primary and supervising athletic trainer responsible for managing the healthcare of the women’s soccer and women’s lacrosse teams. Brian also serves a clinical mentor in the University’s post professional athletic training program and oversees the Graduate Educator who also provides care for the soccer and lacrosse teams. Prior to his time at Oregon, Brian served as an athletic trainer at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.

A graduate of Castleton University (2015), Brian earned his undergraduate degree in athletic training. Brian then went on to be a Graduate Employee within the Ducks athletic department where he earned his master’s degree from the University of Oregon in human physiology (2017). Greene also has prior experience with the USA Women’s Paralympic Hockey team.

Brian takes a professional interest in emergency medicine, joint trauma, and the evaluation and treatment of hip and lumbar pathology. He holds additional certifications in Blood Flow Restriction Therapy and as a NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist. He also has additional training with Graston Technique.

Brian originally hails from Portland, Maine and spent most of his childhood moving back and forth between London, England and the USA. No stranger to traveling, Brian has relocated across the country on three separate occasions making for lots of adventures along the way. Brian currently resides in Creswell with his girlfriend, Kelsey and their two dogs, Lyla and Willa. He enjoys getting outdoors to go skiing, camping, hiking and snowshoeing with Kelsey and their fur-babies whenever possible. He also enjoys woodworking and golfing.
