Kyle Novak joined the Ducks prior to the 2014 season as a volunteer goalkeeper coach.
A Eugene native, Novak has spent five years as a goalkeeper trainer and assistant coach for the Eugene Timbers Futbol Club, coaching keepers ages 10-18. He was added as the ODP Regional Training Center goalkeeper coach in 2013, where he works with athletes between 11 and 13 and assists in selecting players for the ODP state team.
Novak has also coached for the River City Soccer Club, Spokane Soccer Club Shadow and Spokane Soccer Academy.
Novak played keeper at Whitworth for three seasons, graduating in 2012. While with the Pirates, Novak helped the team to two Northwest Conference titles and was named the NWC Defensive Player of the Year in 2012. He also served as a captain his senior season.
