Appeared in 19 matches … spent a majority of the non-conference slate playing in the 6-2 system along with senior Cora Taylor … helped direct the offense to hitting percentages of .300 or higher against Prairie View A&M (.321) and Portland (.301) … 10 or more assists in seven matches including a pair of 20-assist efforts … vs Prairie View A&M (Aug. 30): tallied 16 assists, a season-high eight digs and an ace in four-set win … vs Colorado State (Sept. 6): dished out a season-high 21 assists in a four-set victory to go along with five digs, an ace and her first-career kill … vs Oregon State (Sept. 18): had 13 assists, two kills and two digs while the team hit .295 in a four-set road victory.
HIGH SCHOOL
Mitchell was a three-time OSAA all-state selection for Crescent Valley High School and helped lead the Raiders to back-to-back state titles in 2022 and 2023. In the latter, she tallied 37 assists, 16 digs and five kills in a four-set win over Bend. Mitchell topped 2,500 assists during her prep career including 1,019 assists as a senior. She also registered 760 digs, 436 kills and 189 service aces at CVHS.
