Appeared in 112 of 116 sets … made 19 total starts including 13 at libero … second on the team with 207 digs … picked up at least eight digs in 12 matches including six outings with 10 or more digs … posted four or more assists in eight matches … had four service aces … vs Colorado State (Sept. 6): established a season high of 20 digs in a five-set victory to go along with four assists … at Portland State (Sept. 19): had 13 digs and season-high seven assists in five-set road win … at Northwestern (Sept. 28): registered 16 digs for a season’s best during Big Ten play … vs #18 Minnesota (Oct. 17): tallied nine digs in upset victory, the team’s first ranked win of the season.
HIGH SCHOOL
Fukumoto earned all-state honorable mention accolades from the Honolulu Star Advertiser as a senior and was a two-time All-OIA Eastern Conference First Team selection for Moanalua High School. She helped MHS to the 2024 Hawaii Division I state semifinals and the 2024 OIA championship, its first league title since 2017. Fukumoto had 15 digs and 10 assists in the four-set win over Kapolei. She was part of Moanalua's state bronze as a freshman after being called up from the JV roster during the 2021 playoffs run. Fukumoto also has previous experience within the USAV National Team Development Program.
