Fukumoto earned all-state honorable mention accolades from the Honolulu Star Advertiser as a senior and was a two-time All-OIA Eastern Conference First Team selection for Moanalua High School. She helped MHS to the 2024 Hawaii Division I state semifinals and the 2024 OIA championship, its first league title since 2017. Fukumoto had 15 digs and 10 assists in the four-set win over Kapolei. She was part of Moanalua's state bronze as a freshman after being called up from the JV roster during the 2021 playoffs run. Fukumoto also has previous experience within the USAV National Team Development Program.
