Sheppard earned multiple all-area and all-state honors for Puyallup High School including WSVCA All-State First Team accolades in 2022. During her prep career, she recorded more than 4,000 assists, reached 200 or more digs in three seasons and tallied more than 200 service aces. Sheppard helped Puyallup to a third-place state finish in 2022 followed by trips to the WIAA Class 4A quarterfinals in 2023 and 2024.
