Yoshida Named Pac-12 All-Freshman

EUGENE, Ore. — Sakura Yoshida, who led Oregon in assists in 2019, was named to the Pac-12 all-freshman team on Wednesday.
The midfielder from Seattle had six assists this season, which ranked eighth in the Pac-12 and is tied for third on the UO single-season list.
Yoshida is the second Duck to be named to the Pac-12 all-freshman team in as many years. Zoe Hasenauer was an all-freshman selection in 2018. She is the 10th Duck all-time to earn Pac-12 all-freshman status.
