Riley Traeger - TFRRS PROFILE
2020-21: Indoor – Did not compete. Outdoor – Made UO debut with a victory and season-best mark of 44.98m/147-7 in the javelin at the SDSU Aztec Invitational (March 27) … added top-10 performances at the Hayward Premiere, West Coast Classic and Oregon Twilight … had a day’s best of 43.86m/143-11 in a fourth-place effort at the Twilight meet (May 7) … finished in 13th place (43.65m/143-2) at the Pac-12 Championships.
Before Oregon...
2019 OSAA 5A state champion in the javelin … improved from a seventh-place state finish as a sophomore … won the 2019 USATF National Junior Olympic Championships in Sacramento … 2019 5A-3 Mid-Williamette Conference champion … runner-up at the conference meet as a sophomore … set a personal best of 154-1 at the Nike/Jesuit Twilight Relays … also a state qualifier in the shot put during her junior season.
