PERSONAL ? Born Jermaine Lee Randolph on Jan. 17, 1984 in White Plains, N.Y. Parent: Genieieve Randolph. Family: One brother. High School (Coach): Junipero Serra (Patrick Walsh) 2002. Major: Sociology. Redshirt: 2002.
HIGH SCHOOL ? A lack of playing time from his junior year
prevented the first-team all-West Catholic Athletic League pick from attracting more attention, yet progress from his final season served notice of his tremendous potential. Became the Padres’ primary
offensive line stalwart for a program that accumulated a 6-4 record his final year, with team making a habit of running behind him in short-yardage situations. Recorded 47 pancake blocks in 10 games and was vital for program that averaged 200 yards rushing per game. Yet natural athletic skills made him a natural pass blocker as he didn’t allow any quarterback sacks for a team that averaged 20 pass attempts per outing.
OREGON ? Looking to make the most of his opportunity to fit his talents into a system that may be more conducive to his abilities.
2004 ? Saw action in three games, including 14 plays against Idaho and four vs. Washington.
2003 ? Experience limited to one snap against California.
2002 ? Was recognized as team’s offensive scout player of the week for preparations leading up to wins over Fresno State and UCLA.
