2011-12: Outdoors - Pac-12 competitor in the pole vault. Had a top clearance of 12-7.5/3.85m to win the John Knight Twilight. Also vaulted in five other regular season meets, as well as the Pac-12 Championships. Also ran the 100 meter hurdles three times with a best of 14.32 at the Oregon Relays. Indoors - Good season opener at the Blue and Orange Opener with a win in her section of the 60 meter hurdles (8.99). Best pole vault of the season was 13-4.5/4.08m in a tie for second at the MPSF Championships. Season Bests: Outdoors - Pole Vault - 12-7.5/3.85, John Knight Twilight, Monmouth, Ore. (4/13/12). Indoors - 60 Meter Hurdles - 8.99 (PR), Blue and Orange Opener, Nampa, Idaho (1/14/12); Pole Vault - 13-4.5/4.08m (PR), MPSF Championships, Seattle, Wash. (2/25/12).
Prep: Took the state of California by storm by clearing 13-6 to win the 2011 state title in the pole vault as a senior for Clovis West High School. That was the fifth-best prep clearance in California history and also ranked third nationally in 2011. Won every prep pole vault competition as a senior except one. After the high school season, tied for fifth at the USATF Junior Championships (12-5.5). Finished sixth in the pole vault as a junior in 2010 (11-9). Also a two-time state qualifier in the 100 meter hurdles. High School Bests: Pole Vault - 13-6, 2011.
Personal: Major is human physiology. Twin sister is Oregon teammate Alyssa Monteverde.
