2024-25: Indoor - Fourth place in the shot put at the Big Ten Indoor Championships … went from sixth to fourth with 19.06m/62-6.5 on final attempt … season best of 19.21m/63-0.25, finished third at the Razorback Invitational … finished fourth or better in four meets during indoor season. Outdoor – Fourth place at the NCAA Championships at Hayward Field with a lifetime best of 20.32m/66-8 on his fifth throw … became the No. 4 performer in program history … first UO man over 20 meters since 1982 … third place in the shot put (19.42m/63-8.75) at the Big Ten Championships; also finished 12th in the discus … established a discus personal best of 56.15m/184-3 at the Triton Invitational.
Summer 2024: Runner-up in the shot put (19.58 meters) at the Jamaican Championships.
2023-24: Indoor – did not compete. Outdoor – competed unattached … won the shot put at the Oregon Twilight with a lifetime best of 20.07m/65-10.25 … also picked up a win (19.34 meters) at the OSU High Performance meet in late April.
Before Oregon: 2022 World U20 Championships runner-up in the shot put with a prep best of 20.58 meters; also finished 10th in the discus … eighth place in the shot put at the 2021 World U20 meet … three top-five finishes at the Jamaican Championships including a runner-up finish in 2022 … twice a Jamaican U20 champion, winning the shot put in 2021 and discus in 2022 … two-time Penn Relays HS champion (2022, ’23) … swept the shot put and discus titles at the 2023 CARIFTA U20 Games … fourth place in the shot put at the 2023 NACAC U23 Championships.
